The neighborhood is also home to several prestigious schools, making it a popular choice for families. However, in recent years, East Memphis has faced a growing problem with tree removal. Due to the area’s rapidly expanding population, many trees have been removed to make way for new development. In addition, the loss of trees has diminished the aesthetic appeal of East Memphis, making it a less desirable place to live.
